Flexibility
Designs with "flexibility" have always played an important role in Japanese culture. Think of origami, where a single sheet of paper can take on a seemingly infinite number of forms. Flexible designs inspire the imagination of the user, and lend themselves to creative applications. Nowadays, design practices that use digital data to create flexibility are on the rise. This time, with architect Yusuke Oono, we explore the concept of flexibility in the world of design.

In 1975, the Dearborn High Yellowjackets became the first team in state history to qualify for the Girls' U.S. Soccer Championship Series in Manchester, NH. They never got the chance to compete. Equal parts survival epic, horror story and pitch black coming of age, Yellowjackets tells the story of the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the Ontario wilderness, chronicling their descent from a friendly, cooperative team to warring, cannibalistic clans. At the same time, it follows the lives they've attempted to piece back together nearly twenty-five years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.
Resident Alien
Resident Alien is a dark, twisted and comedic fish-out-of-water story that follows a crash-landed alien named Harry who, after taking on the identity of a small-town Colorado doctor, slowly begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his secret mission on Earth — ultimately asking the question, "Are human beings worth saving?"
