La Carta - The Letter
Don Fernando Castillo, an aging and infirm patriarch living in Mexico, reveals a long-kept secret to his family. He has always believed that his first wife was killed in the Spanish Civil War, but a letter he has received from Sevilla, Spain hints that she may actually have survived. He hires Raquel Rodriguez, a lawyer from Southern California, to investigate the claims made in the letter.
