By Florian Iwersen Shortly before morning prayers, the novice Jakob Andresen is found murdered in front of the altar of the monastery church. The way the body was arranged suggests ritual murder. The deceased was a late caller and had only been active in the order for a year. At his instigation, to the annoyance of some confreres, the church was opened to the homeless at night.
