Youssef El Kilali ( Karim Chérif ) takes over the catering for a fashion show for his pregnant wife Simone ( Jasmin Difficulties ). As soon as he arrives there, the model Nastja ( Lola Fuchs ) asks him for help: during the dress rehearsal for the show, she believes she has observed the murder of her friend Kira ( Jennifer Buschmann ). Kira seems to have disappeared. When Anne ( Lina Wendel ) and Youssef Kira's body find it in a clothing rack of the fashion company, they start the investigation. Commissioner is enthusiastic about the activities of the detectives Eisner ( Robert Dölle ) within limits. Especially since Anne and Youssef seem to always be one step ahead.
The investigations not only lead the duo to the creative minds of the fashion label, but above all to a model school, pulling young girls from abroad out of their pockets with the prospect of a modeling career in Germany. But there are other traces. What role do a corrupt Russian consular officer or the staff of a trendy casting show play for young models?
