Jubiläum in Rosenheim
Im exklusiven Reitklub Hoheneck stehen Wahlen für das Amt des Präsidenten an. Da wird Hannes Kolbe, der Hufschmied des Klubs, erschlagen aufgefunden. Die langjährige Amtsinhaberin Dagmar Steinsdorf hat diesmal eine Herausforderin: Katrin Ehrentraut. Sie hat gute Chancen, Frau Steinsdorf zu entthronen. In den Fokus der Ermittler Stadler und Hecht rückt also Frau Ehrentraut, da sie sauer auf Kolbe war. Kolbe soll ihr Pferd falsch beschlagen haben – angeblich im Auftrag von Frau Steinsdorf, die verhindern wollte, dass ihre Rivalin bei den Klubmeisterschaften gewinnt. Tatsächlich wurde Frau Ehrentraut Vorletzte. Hat sie sich dafür an Kolbe gerächt? Außerdem sind Eva Gentzler und ihr Mann Arnold verdächtig. Er könnte eifersüchtig gewesen sein, denn angeblich hatte seine Frau ein Verhältnis mit Kolbe.
Und wie steht es um die amtierende Klubpräsidentin, Dagmar Steinsdorf, die sich auf Kosten des Klubs bereicherte? Kolbe wusste davon und hatte sie erpresst. Wollte Frau Steinsdorf das nicht länger zulassen? Und dann gibt es da noch den neuen Reitschüler Stefan Maier, der sich viel mehr für Kolbe und dessen Hufschmiede interessierte als für die Pferde. Derweil bereiten sich Frau Grasegger und die Rosenheimer Landfrauen auf den 555. Geburtstag ihrer Schutzpatronin, der heiligen Irmtraut, vor. Auch Herr und Frau Stadler sind zu den Feierlichkeiten geladen. Doch dann stellt Frau Stadler fest, dass eine der Landfrauen plant, das gleiche Dirndl wie sie anzuziehen
