Stefan Ertl, workshop manager of the renowned picture frame shop Waasner, is found lifeless by his colleagues. Who surprised him at work at night? Inspectors Stadler and Hansen first try to find out whether it might be a fake burglary. Who could have been interested in harming Ertl and why? Are the suspects to be found in the business environment? The investigators initially targeted Benno Waasner, the owner of the shop, and his wife Elke.
