Wonka
Wonka is a 2023 musical fantasy film directed by Paul King, who co-wrote the screenplay with Simon Farnaby. It is a prequel to the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, which is in turn based on the 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. Wonka tells the wondrous story of how the world's greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today. An intoxicating mix of magic and music, mayhem and emotion, all told with fabulous heart and humor.
