Dirty Vegan - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Episode 1
Series in which Matthew Pritchard tries to show that a vegan diet benefits everyone. Here, he cooks a power-packed protein banquet for the Llanelli Scarlets women's rugby team.

Episode 2
This time, he's in for a treat. He's on a challenge to hit the gold standard of baking as he creates a table of cakes for the Glamorgan federation of the Women's Institute. For Matt, this is a Great Welsh Vegan Bake Off like no other as he bakes to impress and convince not only the WI judges, but an expectant crowd of cake-lovers at the annual Gower agricultural show. He hopes to show that vegan cakes can be as tasty, sweet and creamy as their non-vegan alternatives. But will Matt's cakes uphold the impeccable reputation of the WI bakers? With that kind of pressure, there's no room for soggy bottom!

Episode 3
This time, Matt goes back to school for the first time in 20 years to try and convince a group of GCSE pupils from Kings Monkton School in Cardiff that vegan food can be proper brain food and tasty, too. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it's vital to kick-start the bodies and brains of teenagers in particular. But can a vegan breakfast stand up to a classic fry-up and sizzle on these teenagers' taste buds? Matt gets his thinking cap on.

Episode 4
This time Matt faces his fears and battles his claustrophobia to complete an epic vegan food challenge set by the south and mid-Wales cave rescue team. This group of intrepid, subterranean explorers are called to rescue people trapped hundreds of feet beneath the ground and are used to traversing one of the most extreme environments on the planet. This month they are taking part in a big training exercise at the Ogof Ffynnon Ddu. Can Matt make them see the light by cooking a vegan meal that will give them the energy they need to keep them going through the training rescue?
