Mystery at the Border
The case of Summer and Joseph McStay, who vanished from their home San Diego, California, with their two children in February 2010, leaving their pets and possessions behind. It transpired the pair were being chased by various debt collection agents and CCTV footage suggested they had crossed into Mexico. Subsequent to this documentary's first airing, their bodies were recovered from a shallow grave in the Californian desert, though the identity of their killers remains unknown.

Secret Rendezvous
Documentary examining the case of Patti Adkins who vanished in July 2001, shortly after leaving her shift at a Honda factory in Ohio. A police investigation revealed the 29-year-old single mother was making plans for a trip with a mystery boyfriend, but he has never been identified.

Murky Waters
The case of 16-year-old Molly Bish, who vanished minutes after reporting for her summer job as a lifeguard in June 2000. Her body was found three years later after the largest search in the history of Massachusetts.

The Final Chord
The case of Seattle-based punk rocker Brian Barton, guitarist with As Fate Would Have It. The 25-year-old vanished in March 2005, after a bout of depression during which he left the band, broke up with his fiancee and cut ties with his closest friends.

Gone on the 4th of July
The case of Roxanne Paltauf, who disappeared in July 2006 after leaving a motel in Austin, is discussed.

Into the Woods
The case of 28-year-old Jeremy Alex, who was last seen in April 2004 running towards a house in Northport, Maine claiming that the `bad guys' were after him.

The Darkest Night
Documentary investigating the case of Toni Lee Sharpless a nurse and mother with a bipolar disorder who vanished in August 2009 after a night out in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania. The car she was travelling in has never been recovered, though it was possibly spotted two weeks later in Camden, New Jersey.

Soul Searcher
The case of 23-year-old Leah Roberts who vanished in March 2000 after leaving North Carolina to do some soul-searching on a cross-country trip. The Jeep in which she was travelling was found damaged and abandoned a week later 3,000 miles from her home, close to the Canadian border, with some of her personal possessions scattered around it.

A Family's Curse
The case of high-profile district attorney Ray Gricar, who went missing from his home area of Pennsylvania in April 2005. His laptop and hard drive were found destroyed in the Susquehanna River, leaving detectives wondering whether he had been murdered or gone on the run.

The Springfield Three
The case of Sherrill Levitt, Suzie Streeter and Stacy McCall who vanished from their home in Springfield, Missouri, in June 1992. Sherrill was Suzie's mother, while Stacy was her friend and the disappearance happened a day after Suzie and Stacy had graduated from high school.

A Mother's Mission
The case of teenager Samantha Bonnell, who vanished after a row with her boyfriend at a Californian cinema in September 2005. She died in a road traffic accident later the same night, but having no identification on her lay unclaimed at the San Bernardino County Coroner's Office until the link with her missing persons case was made 19 months later.

Lost Hero
The case of 32-year-old Florida firefighter Brandy Hall, whose truck was found submerged at the bottom of a pond after she went missing in August 2006. There were traces of her blood inside the vehicle and a year later her backpack - minus her gun - was found in a canal. The FBI reviewed the evidence and decided Hall had likely been murdered, but the mystery of her fate remains.

Silent Night
The case of mother-of-three Patty Vaughan, whose blood-stained minivan was found abandoned at a roadside on Christmas Day 1996, 20 miles from her home in Texas. Police considered the possible involvement of her ex-husband in her disappearance.
