Strange Little Girl
Ruth's psychosis and belief that she is Michelle almost ends in tragedy with the near death of a patient. Michelle discovers the truth about Ruth's relationship with her half brother Adam, and Melody is forced into having her sectioned under section 4 of the mental health act.

Restraint
Ruth's condition gets worse as she is questioned by the doctors at the Beeches House Mental Heath Unit, and spends her first night there. Adam and Michelle try to come to terms with Ruth's deception, and Melody feels guilty over her decision to have Ruth committed.

Love Letters Straight from the Heart
Melody and the rest of the staff try and get their heads around the sectioning of Ruth, and wonder how they all missed the signs. Karen goes to a funeral.

The Wall
Archie meets a hot girl at a climbing wall. Julia goes to visit Ruth, but chickens out at the last minute. Jimmi visits Michelle, who's ill at home, and discovers she's with Adam.

The Way I Am
Michelle cries a lot when Adam decides to leave her. Their kissing isn't healthy for a brother and sister.

The Final Straw
Lily and a boiler man are held hostage by a stressed out patient. A new practice nurse, Cherry Malone starts at the Mill.

Hole
As her delusions become ever more potent, Ruth struggles to come to terms with her state of mind. Julia, meanwhile, finally finds a practical way to help Ruth.

One for the Road
Ruth tries to put her feelings down in the form of a letter. Daniel helps an old friend who is in a messy relationship.
