Fiona looks at travel insurance, and questions whether enough is being done to make people aware of hidden small print that could leave them high and dry. We look at problems when booking accommodation. Plus Rani looks at the currency exchange scams that can rob you of your cash.

Fiona looks at hotel star ratings. With no universal standard, star ratings vary from country to country; we hear from several frustrated holidaymakers who thought they had booked luxury accommodation, only to find the reality very different. Fiona challenges industry experts and hears about a possible solution to the problem. Plus Rani lifts the lid on the healthcare scams that can target you if you are taken ill on holiday.

Denied Boarding/Souvenirs
We hear from two holidaymakers whose trips were grounded at the airport. One missed her flight because of a long queue at check-in, and another arrived at the check-in desk to be told he could not travel because there were only a few months left on his passport. Fiona asks what the travel industry can do to avoid these situations, while Rani Price finds out how buying souvenirs could cost more than you bargained for.

We hear from two sets of holidaymakers whose dream trips were scuppered because they didn't have the right visa. Neither couple feels they were properly informed about the visas they needed, so Fiona challenges travel industry big guns to see what could be done to improve things for travellers. Plus Rani warns unsuspecting tourists about the dangers of buying tickets for non-existent excursions.
