27-year-old Essex boy Andrew is a groom torn between two worlds. On one side, his former boss in the Royal Navy and bride-to-be Amanda, who wants Andrew to man up and take charge of the wedding. Although Amanda left the navy three years ago, she still gives the orders in their relationship. But in his desperation to please her, will he make the wrong decision?
And on the other side is best man Neil, who wants him to lighten up and be the fun-loving Essex boy again. Andrew grew up in Essex where he spent his younger days drinking and partying with his laddish mates, but since meeting Amanda he has abandoned his wild ways for a more domestic life.
Trapped between his laddy past and his future wife, which Andrew will shine through? He may have spent the last six years defending his country in the navy, but can he give Amanda the wedding of her dreams?
