Cancel culture is a rampant phenomenon designed to weaponize public opinion. The internet has become society's courtroom with viral videos subjecting everyday people to national scrutiny. What started as a way to hold people accountable has evolved into a powerful force that can make or break careers, reputations and even lives. Is the culture of public shaming going too far?
