Online Addiction Destroying America's Youth

Dr. Phil is continuing the conversation about how many accuse social media companies of intentionally designing platforms to keep children/young adults addicted, leaving devastating effects on their mental health. Dr. Phil will speak with parents, Donna and Chris who say they had no idea their teenage son, CJ, was addicted to social media until after he tragically took his own life. They say CJ died with his phone still in his hand, after one last post. Dr. Phil will also speak with Matthew Bergman who is the founding attorney for the Social Media Victims' Law Center, which has a mission to hold social media companies legally accountable for the harm he claims they inflict on vulnerable users. Plus, Dr. Phil and Dr. Nicholas Kardaras sit down with a group of young adults to discuss why they believe social media is creating huge problems for their generation.
