The Most Enabling Mother in America?

Amy says her 20-year-old son, Jai, is a "rageaholic ticking time bomb" and worries he's on the verge of seriously hurting someone, especially since he recently purchased a semi-automatic rifle. Amy claims managing Jai's anger is a constant battle, so much so that she says he got her fired and she is on the verge of being evicted. Amy admits she allows her son to do nothing all day besides smoke pot and play video games because she says she feels bad for him due to his recent struggle with cancer. Jai says he can't stand his mother and her constant nagging. He says she's a helicopter parent who still treats him like a child. Jai says he loves marijuana, smokes 24/7, and believes it's the only thing that helps with his horrible anger. Is Amy the most enabling mother in America? Can Jai learn to control his black-out rage? Can Dr. Phil fix this broken family dynamic? Find out!

Beyond the Gates
Beyond the Gates is set in a leafy Maryland suburb just outside of Washington D.C., and in one the most affluent African American counties in the United States. Here you'll find a posh gated community with winding tree-lined streets and luxurious mansions to call home. At the center of this community are the Duprees, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family that is the very definition of Black royalty. But behind these pristine walls and lush, manicured gardens are juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered. And those that live outside these gates are watching closely. These are the places where our characters live, love, work and play. Those who have "made it" and those who haven't are all trying to navigate life … and some with more grace than others.
