Assigned to take down a Phoenix crime lord, FBI Agent Nina Hayes targets reluctant getaway driver Jim Ellis – unaware that deeper corruption awaits.

After grudgingly agreeing to work with Nina, Jim is blackmailed by a corrupt cop, forcing him to make a deal with a dangerous fixer. As Nina uncovers buried FBI secrets, a shadowy figure in D.C. watches her every move.

Nina and Awan follow a lead that requires tracking down a troubled former agent at a sanitarium. Meanwhile, Jim drives Saxton to a secret meeting that leaves him with growing suspicions... and in search of answers.

After Jim learns that he's being pursued by an assassin, he and Saxton's son Royce are ambushed by rogue thieves while on a high-stakes delivery. Meanwhile, Nina and Awan trace a cryptic message to an unexpected place.
