Music and readings for Holy Week and Easter from the stunning Chapel of King's College, Cambridge. The world-famous choir, directed by Stephen Cleobury, sing some of the best-loved choral music for the season, including Were You There? (arr Bob Chilcott), Greater Love (John Ireland), Wash Me Throughly (SS Wesley), Worthy is the Lamb and Amen (GF Handel from Messiah) and This Joyful Eastertide (arr Charles Wood). The story of Jesus's death and resurrection is taken from the Gospel of John and told in the well-loved words of the King James Bible by members of King's College. Easter hymns include My Song Is Love Unknown and Ye Choirs Of New Jerusalem.
