Popular and poignant choral music includes Ave Verum Corpus (Mozart), God So Loved the World (Stainer), Greater Love Hath No Man (Ireland) and a performance by soprano Anita Monserrat of I Know That My Redeemer Liveth (Handel, from Messiah). The story of Jesus's death and resurrection is told from the Bible by members of King's College, and the service is introduced by the Dean, the Revd Dr Stephen Cherry.
