Music to Your Mouth

We start the day in Portland, Ore., for some all day breakfast at the Fried Egg I'm In Love truck, serving up music inspired dishes like their Egg Zepplin, Yolk-O Ono and a Back in Black Bean sandwich. Then we visit Houston, Texas, and lift the lid on The Rice Box for the tastiest Chinese take-out on wheels featuring general tso chicken and a golden doomba special. Next it's a trip to San Francisco, to chow down at 3-Sum Eats whose mouthwatering selection of apps, mains and desserts means one is never enough. Whether it's mac and cheese spring rolls, a cornflake-encrusted chicken sandwich or a compost cookie, good things certainly come in threes. Finally, we wrap things up in Nashville at the Wrapper's Delight truck where a hip-hop inspired truck has pimped out its menu with ginger-glazed chicken, grilled tilapia in coconut cream and even a peanut butter and banana wrap for all the sweet-tooth shorties out there.

Bookish

London, 1946 is the dynamic, dangerous and chaotic setting for this stylish new detective drama, with the eccentric Gabriel Book at the very heart of the story: a self-appointed consultant detective to the local police. The thousands of books that line the shelves of his shop provide him with all the knowledge he needs.

Book has gathered around him a host of lovable, damaged misfits whom he informally protects, cajoles, and mentors. His wife Trottie runs the wallpaper shop next door. She's a charismatic adventuress whom Book loves deeply but not physically, for they are in a 'lavender' marriage to help conceal Book's sexual orientation in a time when it was illegal to be gay.

Bookish marries post-war nostalgia with the reckless and life-affirming atmosphere of the times, creating a fast-paced and stylish detective drama.
