Award-winning comedian Mark Nelson unlocks the best of the 20252 Edinburgh Festival. Mark and his star team of comedians have been scouring the brochures, posters and venues for the best performers, personalities and shows from the world-famous festival in Scotland's capital.
This week, supermodel, actor, DJ, environmentalist and first-time comedian Eunice Olumide seeks out some of the Fringe's most famous alumni who can't stop returning.
Blind comedian Jamie MacDonald returns with his unique perspective on some of the brightest, loudest and most flamboyant shows he can find.
The Edinburgh Festival is back to full strength after a couple of quiet years. The world has come to Scotland to make the crowds laugh, cry, sing and dance!

Eunice Olumide takes time away from being a debut comedian to meet other performers with interesting day jobs. She is leaving behind acting, modelling and much more to tell jokes on stage every night for a month - but what makes doctors, lawyers and high-flying tech gurus take to the stage to tell jokes?

As the festival enters its final week, Mark takes a look at some of the runaway successes from this year's Fringe.
The hottest tickets in the last week are almost always a surprise, and 2022 hasn't disappointed. Rumour and excitement are building for the nominations for the big comedy prize, the most illustrious prize in the business - could a Scottish comedian manage to take a place in history and send their career into the stratosphere? And there is stand-up from some of Scotland's best comedians.

Chef Gordon Ramsay of Hell's Kitchen fame is back, and this time he's hitting the road, exposing restaurants that are barely staying afloat.

Beat Shazam
Beat Shazam is a unique and interactive game show in which teams of two race against the clock and each other as they attempt to identify the biggest hit songs of all time. In the end, the team with the highest score will outlast the competition and go against Shazam, the world's most popular song identification app, for the chance to win a cash prize.

Harry Wild
Literature professor Harriet "Harry" Wild is adjusting to retirement when she's mugged. While recovering at the home of her son, a detective in the Dublin police, Harry gleans a clue for his current case. But when she's rebuffed, Harry decides to solve the crime herself. Recruiting an unlikely young sidekick, she finds a new path as a private investigator.
