Fermín quiere casarse con María y le regala el anillo de compromiso que lleva generaciones en su familia. Aunque María tiene dudas, Fermín encontrará una cómplice perfecta en Jacinta, que incluso se ofrece para arreglar un viejo vestido de novia que tiene guardado. Entre los dos convencen a María: la boda se celebrará esa misma noche. Sólo una travesura de las niñas está a punto de dar al traste con la celebración, pues el anillo acaba en el estómago de Javier Holgado... Vicky se debate entre la vida y la muerte. El anestésico que le inyectó el Teniente es muy potente y puede que no se recupere. Pero tampoco es seguro que vaya a morir, y el Teniente, que no sabe si Vicky llegó a verle, no puede arriesgarse a que su víctima despierte y pueda delatarle. Tiene que acabar el trabajo. Roque va a la enfermería para preocuparse por el estado de Vicky pero se encuentra con el rechazo de sus compañeros. Está claro que no van a perdonarle nunca. Mientras sopesa la posibilidad de acabar con todo de una vez, descubre una información crucial. Tras la traición de Lucía, la situación es desesperada. Sólo queda escapar de allí o conseguir ayuda de fuera. Y eso es lo que intentarán: mientras Fermín y Rebeca idean un plan suicida para salir y traer a Max de vuelta al internado, Martín intentará fabricar una radio con la que pedir ayuda al exterior. Sus vidas dependen de ello.
