Carolina desconfía de Amelia más que nunca después de haberla visto llegar al internado junto a Noiret a altas horas de la noche. Sabe que ninguno de sus compañeros la cree, así que intentará obtener las pruebas que necesita tendiéndole una trampa a la profesora. También Julia ha decidido emprender su propia investigación. Está segura de que la llave que encontraron en la habitación de Lucas servirá para abrir la caja fuerte de su padre y piensa comprobarlo por sí misma. Camilo, que sorprende a Julia escapándose del colegio, decide seguirla. Lucas por fin le confiesa a su padre lo que le atormenta por las noches: en su pesadilla puede verle a él matando a una persona con un destornillador. Además, sabe perfectamente a quién pertenece ese destornillador, es el de Toni. Afortunadamente, hoy Lucas ha soñado algo diferente: que un unicornio chocaba con Héctor. Lo sorprendente es que ése también era un sueño de los que se cumplen. Mientras tanto, Toni tiene sus propias preocupaciones. Se ha dado cuenta de que Noiret ha intentado jugársela dándole sólo la mitad del dinero que exigió a cambio de los papeles. Elsa está desbordada, le cuesta compaginar su labor como directora del centro con su nuevo papel de madre. No quiere cogerse una baja de maternidad pero tampoco que Noiret le eche una mano dados sus antecedentes de maltrato. Harta de la situación, ha regañado a Evelyn y Paula más de la cuenta, cuando trataban de dar al bebé leche de una botella. Las pequeñas, que no comprenden el enfado de Elsa, se convencerán de que ha robado al niño a sus papás de verdad y ellas deben devolvérselo.
