The children were convinced it was Héctor who attacked Marcos in the passages, but Julia makes them realize they were wrong.

The kids realize the painting they have found in the passages is actually one of Bosco's masterpieces; Evelyn's parents file for divorce and her father decides to move abroad.

While Marcos tries to understand why his grandfather performed surgery on his former students, his lawyer visits La Laguna Negra to talk to Héctor.

After a series of tests, Jacinta and Héctor confirm their suspicions: Paula is Irene Espí's daughter, who has been kidnapped by the old professor; Elsa is planning to expel Marcos and Paula from school.

Paula is terrified and can barely remember what happened the previous night; she has flashes of a surgeon and a nurse, but everybody tries to convince her it was just a nightmare; Jacinta asks Mr. Joaquín for money.

The professor surprises the kids while they were carrying out a search of Mateo's room; Mateo tries to pick a fight with Marcos and Iván, and Iván ends up knocking him out.

When Iván meets his real mother, they have a heartfelt conversation; even though they know they shouldn't be together, Amelia and Marco cannot fight their feelings.

The kids find out the five missing orphans were actually six and one of they survived; Julia pretends to be sick to avoid confronting Cayetano.
