Victoria arrives at her ex-husband's family farm to pick up their children. When she agrees to stay the night, a mysterious buzzing is heard across the sky.
Fake News
The UFO sightings continue. Damián and Pedro Joven go to town to look for food and Sofía receives advice on her radio. The family dog, Canelo, runs away and the children go looking for him.
A noite longa
Damián and Pedro Joven return to the farm. The children appear with two young backpackers. While in a trance, Emilia draws a symbol, and Diego deciphers a pattern.

Another local family visits the farm in hopes to barter for provisions. Victoria is persuaded by her assistant, Ignacio, to consider the possibility of an alien invasion. The CEOs of the largest social networks suspend their operations, claiming that the cause of the chaos is due to the failure of an algorithm. Some on the farm believe it, but others are doubtful.
Os monstros
The blinding light dazzles the inhabitants of the farm. The family wastes no time in making the house as safe as possible. Victoria shares with Damián a theory about the archaeological sites of the Mayan civilization. Pedro and Paula go to the Vargas family farm to steal medical supplies.
O Santuário
Grouped in their vehicles, the family escapes, but they are quickly besieged. The family fights through and manages to clear a path to escape. On the way to the supposed safety, they stop at a gas station and refuel. Itzel and Paula separate from the rest of the group, leaving together in one of the abandoned vehicles.
