Season 1
Leonel Reina is a young Latino boxer with dreams of becoming a champion. But Leonel's dreams are derailed when he's deported to Mexico and discovers that he was never naturalized as an American citizen. In a country where he doesn't speak the language, Leonel unexpectedly finds himself reconnecting with his roots and making new friends who set out to help him find his way back home.

Boxer Leonel Reina is deported to Mexico just as he was about to enter the ring for the most important bout of his life. Adrift in Mexico City's Central Market, Leonel — who doesn't speak Spanish — ends up entangled in a conflict with local gangster El Gordo.
Tirar La Toalla
Leonel and Miss Meche form a bond while he spends the night at her house, in hiding from Commander Trejo and El Gordo. Later, Leonel is dealt life-shattering news when he goes to the US embassy to seek help to return home.
En Esta Esquina…
Martin, Leonel's friend and opponent in the States, lies to Leonel in an attempt to make a move on Leonel's fiancée, Grace. El Gordo, meanwhile, tries to get closer to Miss Meche's sister, Yadi. Also, Leonel is reluctant to train with the neighborhood boxing coach Don Chucho, but has a change of heart after visiting a local orphanage.
Estilo Mexicano
Martin continues to deceive Grace about Leonel's situation. Meanwhile, Miss Meche helps Leonel make a video for his parents in the States, while the two of them continue to grow closer. Also, El Gordo sets up a fight between El Mosquito and Leonel.
Gancho Al Higado
The money collected during the fight goes missing. Convinced that El Gordo and Trejo are responsible, Leonel, Iker, and Kevin open their own investigation. Also, Leonel's parents find out what happened to Leonel.
Fajador vs. Estilista
Grace surprises Leonel and Miss Meche, leading to a deluge of exaggerated rumors and gossip flooding the neighborhood. Also, El Gordo learns the truth about Yadi and Martin is confronted by Leonel's parents.
Decision Dividida
Leonel's struggle to come to terms with his situation leads him to turn his back on Grace. Meanwhile, Miss Meche and Yadi fight over Yadi's involvement with El Gordo, and Leonel is drawn into the underground boxing scene.
Golpe Bajo
Miss Meche and Leonel's fight against La Peligrosa and El Mosquito is interrupted by an earthquake alert. Meanwhile, tragedy strikes Leonel's family, just as he and Miss Meche prepare to cross the border. Also, Grace learns the truth about Martin.
Contra Las Cuerdas
El Gordo's past comes to light, revealing a troubled childhood and time in juvenile detention before Don Chucho tells him the truth about his father. Also, Trejo discovers that someone is monitoring his meetings with Diablo, and Yadi begins to feel the stress of her relationship with El Gordo.
K.O.
Leonel and Miss Meche arrive at Leonel's parents' house. As Martin prepares for the championship fight in Las Vegas, Leonel and his father maneuver to enable Leonel to also fight in Vegas, but under the banner of a different flag.
