Unknown to her, Vestia and Cruz are already there, trying to escape King Verago's guards. Once they escape them, upon seeing Elena and Skylar enter Vallaestrella, Cruz and Vestia decide their only option now is to grovel and beg for forgiveness and hope that Elena and Verago will show them mercy.

Luna convinces King Verago to give her a shot at joining the King's Guard and gets partnered with a gruff jaquin named Tornado to show her the ropes.
