Season 55
2026 will mark Emmerdale's 55th year. During this year, Emmerdale will begin broadcasting five half-hour episodes every weekday, with half an hour being cut from Thursday's usual hour-long episode, starting on January 6th. The year will also feature a crossover event with fellow ITV soap, Coronation Street titled "Corriedale" on January 5th.
