Manuel wants to deliver the agreed wheat, but José has gambled, the French to whom he was going to sell it have broken the deal and he must fire workers to pay him, but the landowner rejects him. Inés blackmails Custodio, if he doesn't get married, she will tell everything, but in addition, Custodio receives an envelope from José asking him to stay away from Guillermo forever. José, not satisfied with the wheat move, plots something more serious, tampering with Manuel's motorcycle.
