Rishi Persad introduces coverage of the Burghley Horse Trials, featuring highlights of the cross-country and live action from the day's showjumping.
Burghley is one of the equestrian world's most prestigious events and in 2011 William Fox-Pitt made history by claiming a record sixth victory there. The Briton, who finished just ahead of Andrew Nicholson, was part of the successful British team at the London Olympics. He won team silver in the eventing, while Team GB's showjumpers went one better, claiming their first team gold for 60 years.
