Clare Balding presents action from the Burghley Horse Trials in Lincolnshire and highlights of the individual showjumping at the World Equestrian Games in France.
An international field of 70 plus world-class horses and riders compete at the Burghley Horse Trials and among them will be Great Britain's William Fox-Pitt, who won his first title 20 years ago and is seeking an unprecedented seventh. New Zealand's Andrew Nicholson has three titles to his name and will be aiming for a third crown in three years on his horse Avebury.
There is also action from the 2014 World Equestrian Games as they come to a close in Normandy after two weeks of competition. Great Britain's squad topped the medal table at the 2010 games held in Kentucky, claiming 19 medals, including nine golds. These games are the first qualifying event for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
