Rita has just lost her best friend and housemate. She is sad, unmotivated and apathetic when she discovers an application on her cell phone that allows her to live other people's lives. Needing to change something in her life, she decides to install Appy and embark on the various experiences that the application has to offer. However, Rita does not realize that the errors in the application, still in the experimental phase, will cause irreparable consequences in her life.

But Rita has a creative block. At night, her colleagues celebrate Rita's victory in a bar and for a moment Rita drinks happily. But upon arriving home, once again faced with Bia's absence, Rita runs away to Appy. Maybe this time for a better life? While she is away, her friend Cindy will meet a different Rita and be confused. Upon returning to her life, the application fails again and her friends end up arguing.

Rita and her grandmother Lola go on a road trip to Figueira da Foz. Lola lived a large part of her life in Figueira and through her memories, she tries to help Rita understand the mysteries of life. They play at the casino, walk along the beach and eat seafood. When they return, Lola helps Rita take a step forward in mourning Bia's death. Rita is now more positive and focused on her life. She has a normal day at work, makes up with Cindy and has a romantic date. But upon returning home she discovers a mysterious party: a parallel reality of Appy.

Rita is forced to enter Appy to get out of the mysterious party. Surprisingly, she takes on the life of someone much younger. But she still feels the need to investigate the party. The mystery deepens when Francisco goes to Rita and gives her worrying news about Appy. But it is Rita herself who, upon meeting Vicente by chance, discovers a terrible secret about the application.
