In the course of further investigation, Popielski receives information from Dr. Pidhirengo that the murderer is probably allergic to the flower identified on Elżunia's body. At the same time, thanks to Zaremba's investigation, Edward goes to Mrs. Bodnarowa's flower shop, from where he obtains information that Jasminum is ordering a nondescript Count Niezawitowski.
