The group lands in San Diego and quickly discovers that the Lower 48 is drastically different from Alaska. A trip to the grocery store reveals divisions within the group, and they face severe culture shock while celebrating Mardi Gras.

Hostile Hostel & Hollywood Bound
Despite attempts to cleanse the hostel of bad energy, disagreements erupt between two in the family, leading others to try to bring both sides together in peace. But will it blow up in everyone's face? Meanwhile, Tamara follows her dreams to Hollywood.

Makeover & Make Up
Troubling news from home causes a few members to second-guess leaving their families. Meanwhile, the group get makeovers to shed their traditional Alaskan styles; and a rift between Qituvituag and Nuala gets wider.

One Eskimo Down & Four Surf It Up
A member's disappearance brings the others together. Meanwhile, Nuala makes new friends and thinks about her future; a visit to a reservation makes everyone homesick; and Qituvituag gets creative to solve a cash-flow problem.

Igloo of Lies & Finding Frank
In the Season 1 finale, Tamara owns up to her lies; Mary tries to save her relationship with Tory; the reason for Frank's disappearance is revealed; and Nuala gets a surprise visit from Q.
