Eureka: Hide and Seek - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Part One
The video of the teenagers being attacked is now on the Internet, and Zoe has linked it to her homepage in an attempt to get some answers. Jack believes it to be a drunk in a monkey suit, but a visit from Allison confirms it to be quite real. Elsewhere, Taggart is happy to have found something after so many years.

Part Two
In the woods, Jo and Carter search for the creature. Carter mentions that he asked Stark what it was, only to be hit with the all too-common "classified". The two find a gutted bear, and bag a claw they find in its stomach. Elsewhere, Taggart is hunting the creature. It chases away Fargo, who has accompanied Taggart, and Taggart goes on the hunt.

Part Three
Taggart, still searching for the creature, ends up being knocked out by his prey. Meanwhile, Allison and Jack are discussing the creature while Allison changes a flat. Jack mentions that he has given the claw to Henry for analysis. The creature begins sneaking up on Allison during their conversation. Allison notices this, and asks Jack to come help. The creature then attacks, chasing Allison into her car. A gunshot goes off as the screen goes dark.

Part Four
Taggart comes to, having survived his encounter with the creature. He finds Fargo's broken glasses, and assumes the scientist to be dead. At Henry's garage, the creature is now in a body bag, having been shot by Allison. A team from Global Dynamics is on its way to pick it up. Henry explains that the creature has DNA that only Neanderthals should have, and that the claw Jack gave him doesn't belong to the one Allison shot. In the woods, something lets out a loud roar.

Part Five
At the sheriff's office, Fargo stumbles in, tired and bruised. He explains that the creature is supposedly the "Missing Link". At Global Dynamics, he also notes that the creature Allison shot is not the one that attacked him. Jack tries once again to get Stark to explain what the creature is, but Stark merely says that Taggart can explain it better. As Jack and Fargo leave to find Taggart, Stark notes that Taggart is one "stupid brilliant son of a bitch." In the woods, Jack and Fargo hear the creature roar as it closes on them.

Part Six
Having momentarily avoided the creature, Jack and Fargo find Taggart, who appears injured. Jack asks Taggart to explain what the creature is, since Taggart had been running the project that created it. Taggart, speaking somewhat incoherently, claims that his funding was cut off on the verge of the breakthrough, and says that they claimed it was too early for human trials. When questioned about this by Jack, he roars.

Part Seven
Taggart has apparently transformed into some kind of monster (though the scene is from his point of view) and is preparing to attack Jack. As Jack tries to reason with Taggart while reaching for his gun, Fargo creates a distraction, giving Jack the opportunity to shoot Taggart. At Global Dynamics, Taggart appears physically human, though he is still acting like an animal. Fargo says that they've put him on gene therapy, and that he'll be normal in a few weeks. Stark still won't explain just what has happened. Since the incident seems to be over, everyone goes home. At Jo's house, just after she closes her curtains, what appears to be another creature walks by.
