After inheriting their late Aunt Angela's Connecticut home, twin sisters Val and Dina are overwhelmed by all of her possessions. They enlist the help of Everything But the House to try to make $10,000 from the sale of Angela's treasures to pay for a vacation in her honor. Working from the basement to the attic, the treasure hunters scour the home and discover potentially lucrative items, including a mink coat, a John Lennon bracelet and two Joan Miro lithographs that, if real, could fetch thousands of dollars and anchor the sale. The 455 items are authenticated before the auction, but it all comes down to the bidders. With every auction starting at just $1, Val and Dina cross their fingers, hoping to hit their sale goal of $10,000 and take the trip of a lifetime to honor their aunt.
