Episode 2

In this second episode are Will and Amy, from Cheltenham, who were a year into their relationship when Will suffered a bleed on the brain. Thankfully Will survived, however his memory had been badly affected and since his injury he has struggled to retain new short term memories, including when he proposed to Amy.
However, refusing to be defeated, fiancee Amy spent hours formulating ways to train Will's brain, determined that he would remember their big day.
The second couple, Karen and Ian, from Scunthorpe, were three years into their relationship when at the age of 46 Karen suffered a stroke, which left her without the full use of voice. Karen developed a condition called aphasia, where she struggles to find the right words to form full sentences.
However, with their love as strong as ever, Ian proposed to Karen and worked tirelessly in the hope she'd be able to say her all-important vows on their wedding day.
