DeShante, a 22-year-old church choir singer from Pittsburg, California, feels that her life has been marred by her cleft palate and lip. Called ""harelip"" by kids when she was young, DeShante underwent four operations until her parents' money ran out. Consequently, the congenital deformity has never been corrected -- until now, though the combined efforts of Dr. Yuan and Dr. Dorfman. DeShante had her septum straightened, cartilage graft from ear to her right nostril, nose reshaping and leveling, reconstruction of cleft lip and mouth muscles, tummy tuck, liposuction, inner thigh lift, chemical peel, a porcelain veneer, augmented missing gums and permanent upper bridge. A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Pam has been in a happy and stable relationship with Ron for four years. However, she's getting antsy and wants Ron to decide whether he wants to commit or not.
