Facts of Fishing (2008-2016)

EndedReality showSports

Every once in awhile, something comes along that changes things. You know, that one great invention that people wonder what they did before without it. The light bulb, the car, the telephone, the Internet – all great revolutions that changed mankind. Facts of Fishing may not be one of the greatest inventions ever, but it did totally change the way people viewed fishing shows. Up until the launch, many fishing shows were seen as boring, quiet, sleepy fishing shows. You know, the same one your great granddaddy used to fall asleep to every Saturday morning.

So what makes Facts of Fishing different? First of all, it's Dave, the host. Beyond that, the series goes even further to capture what really happens on the water. Let's face it, when you look back on your fishing memories, what stories bring the biggest smiles to your face? Is it the biggest fish you ever caught or is it what really happened on the water? Like the time you hooked your Uncle Bart, or forgot to put the plug in the boat, or the big one that got away. Facts of Fishing features what really happens on the water in real time, shot over one day, allowing the viewers to see how many casts, how long Dave's been fishing, how many fish he has or hasn't caught and chronicling everything that happens and we mean everything! All this brought to your television in state-of-the-art HD.
