Yang Lian Han is a talented scientist, the dream of all girls at the university.
Bai Ling Ling is a graduate student who falls in love with a guy.

The young people met in their early years on the Internet. Upon returning to China, Yang Lan Han is accepted to the university as a doctoral student. Suddenly, he runs into Bai Ling Ling, an "online friend" he has been thinking about a lot, and disrupts her carefully prepared doctoral thesis defense. To compensate for this, he helps the girl get a job in the laboratory, and they continue to be friends on the Internet.
