Chinese-American, Jewish and Italian-American families face off to see whose family restaurant fare is the best. In round one, host Valerie Bertinelli asks the teams to adapt their restaurants' best lunch combos for picky eaters. The two families that remain in round two have to make an impressive noodle dish with a twist that wows the judges, and the winning family takes home the $10,000 prize.

With Family, Nothing is Impossible
It's a battle of Cuban, West African and Italian cuisines when three restaurant-owning families compete for a shot at winning $10,000. First, they have to make their family's version of a burger and side in just 15 minutes. In the second round, the remaining two families both hope their elevated childhood favorite dish will impress judges Clinton Kelly, Robert Irvine and Antonia Lofaso and take them across the finish line.

Family Freezer Burn
Hawaiian, Italian and Texas State Fair families compete to win a life-changing $10,000 for their restaurant. In the first round, Valerie Bertinelli challenges the teams to make a deep-fried family favorite using proteins that are frozen solid. Then the remaining two families have to use bacon in three totally different applications and blow away judges Alex Guarnaschelli, Antonia Lofaso and Simon Majumdar.

Cooking with Parental Supervision
Israeli, Indian and Southern restaurant-owning families compete for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to win $10,000. In the first round, Valerie Bertinelli challenges them to make a seafood feast under an intense time crunch. In the second round, the two families that remain try to impress judges Clinton Kelly, Aarti Sequeira and Jet Tila with their signature meat and potatoes meal, but host Valerie Bertinelli adds one final twist.

You Can't Pick Your Family!
A Filipino family, a Portuguese-American family and a family from New Orleans brave Valerie Bertinelli's kitchen challenges for a chance to win $10,000 for their family-run restaurants. In the first round, they must transform their best-seller into a taco combo. Then the remaining two families have to make a three-course meal using vanilla ice cream in each dish, working together to impress judges Christian Petroni, Courtney Rada and Jet Tila.

A Family Affair
Mexican-American, Italian and Laotian families compete to prove their food is best and take the $10,000 prize home to their restaurant. In the first round, Valerie Bertinelli challenges them to make a spicy special without any of their usual spicy ingredients. Then the remaining two families have to create an upscale dinner that incorporates breakfast items and wows judges Clinton Kelly, Bricia Lopez and Jet Tila.
