This September, the brand new series of Fifth Gear returns exclusively to Discovery Channel. Join the most knowledgeable car experts on television, Vicki Butler-Henderson, Tiff Needell, Jason Plato and Jonny Smith, as they climb back into the driving seat to present a whirlwind of high octane features. With all the latest supercars, racing and record attempts, as well as exciting automotive news, advice and reviews, this enhanced edition promises to bring more fascinating information and fast-paced thrills than ever before. Each episode will also guest star a different European racing driver, who will push the presenters' motoring skills to the limit, providing a fresh array of challenges and offering viewers a first-hand insight into their world. In the first of eighteen amazing episodes, the team aim to get their names in the Guinness Book of World Records, by beating the record for maximum distance covered in an hour. Later in the series, Jason celebrates the 25th anniversary of the iconic Ferrari F40; and Tiff races the latest coupe from Bentley against Le Mans winning Bentley driver Guy Smith. Former F1 driver Karun Chandhok returns to battle Jason Plato on the track in two of the most sought after super cars, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the Nissan GT-R Nismo.

Episode 7
Jason and Karun Chandhok test four sports cars to find out which is the ultimate way to get some track day thrills. Vicki Butler-Henderson test drives some second hand hot hatches.

Episode 8
Tiff Needell and Jason take the new Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro out on the track. The team tests Volvo's new V60 estate, to see if it rivals offerings from BMW and Mercedes.

Mayor of Kingstown is set in a small Michigan town where the only industry remaining are federal, state, and private prisons, the story follows the McLusky family, the power brokers between the police, criminals, inmates, prison guards and politicians, in a city completely dependent on prisons and the prisoners they contain. It is a stark and brutal look at the business of incarceration.
