Best friends Evie and Noa have watched films together since they first met at university. Eight years on, Evie isn't coping with life anymore, so she's moved back home to live with her mum, Suz, and sister Izzie in the Manchester suburbs.
Film Club's moved with Evie – to Suz's garage. Unable to face the world outside and trapped at home with little else to occupy her, Evie pours all her creativity into decorating the space beautifully to reflect the movie they're watching every week and making herself the perfect costume.
But a change on the horizon is bringing up newfound feelings for Evie and Noa. Or feelings they've never admitted to themselves or each other…

Episode 2
While Noa attends a taster day for his new job in Bristol, Evie pulls out all the stops for Film Club – there's a lot riding on tonight.

Episode 3
Evie's still reeling from the message she saw on Noa's phone. But when the two are left alone together, something extraordinary happens. Is it the start of a new journey for Evie?

While Evie throws herself headlong at life, Suz and Josh worry it's too much, too soon. Meanwhile, Noa realises he has to face up to his feelings...

Her world rocked, Evie has retreated to the safety of the garage. But with a new understanding, Suz and Izzie create a unique version of Film Club to bring back Evie's smile.

Noa didn't want a big goodbye, but now the day's finally come for him to leave, will Evie let him go that easily? It's not the only big decision she has to face...
