Aileen Wuornos: The Damsel of Death
In 1989, Richard Mallory is found shot dead in the brush off the side of a Florida highway, just the first of seven murdered men found in a similar setting. Their predator is Aileen Wuornos, a woman fleeing a troubled past and yearning for a connection. Instead of finding of love, The Damsel of Death develops a simmering rage in her heart, that finally explodes when she picks up her first victim.

Robert Hansen: The Butcher Baker
Before he hunted down his first victim in the wilds of Alaska, Robert Hansen was working at his father's bakery in a small town in Iowa, slowly developing an animosity for women. Even as a successful business and family man in Anchorage, his intense feelings would build into a dark desire to exert the ultimate control over 17 victims.

Danny Rolling: The Gainesville Ripper
Known primarily for the horrific murders of University of Florida students, Danny's first murders were in his hometown of Shreveport Louisiana. Growing up with a violent father, Danny dreamed of having a loving family as an adult, but his darker fantasies drove him to destroy a family instead. After that, he couldn't stop.

Richard Ramirez: The Nightstalker
One of the most well-known serial killers, Richard Ramirez terrorized Southern California in the mid-1980s, where anyone could be a target of the sadistic murderer. Growing up yearning for a father figure, he found mentorship with his sadistic cousin, a Vietnam Vet, and, later, Satanism, both eventually paving the way to his first brutal slaying.

Ed Kemper: The Co-ed Killer
The articulate and boastful killer, known for his intelligence and charm, is remembered for terrifying the coastal town of Santa Cruz where he picked up and dismembered hitchhiking college students in the early 1970s. But his desire to kill started when he much younger, as a child fantasizing about murdering members of his own family.

Sheila LaBarre: Sheila the Peeler
In rural Epping, New Hampshire, everyone knew Sheila LaBarre as an eccentric widow who loved her rabbits. No one expected what police uncovered when looking for a missing man. Her turbulent childhood in Alabama, a coma induced vision and the death of her wealthy husband all had sent Sheila on a warped mission to kill.

Henry Louis Wallaceː Bad Henry
Someone is killing young African American women in Charlotte, North Carolina and the police seem unable to stop it. What the police don't realize is that the cases all have a commonality: a connection with Henry Louis Wallace. Charming and smart, Henry tried to hide his dark side, fueled from years of abuse and twisted fantasy, until his first murder. Then bad Henry took over.
