Maitre D' Mateo opens the doors of the restaurant to welcome a new line-up of singletons as they embark upon blind dates. First up are double daters Mary and Martina from Limerick, twins who do not share the same taste in men. Will clean-cut Sulvester and dashing stonemason David be what they're looking for? Meanwhile, animation student Eric is worried that his stammer might ruin his date, while unrepentant ladies' man Barry-John from south Dublin meets his match in feisty model Katarina from Laois

Old school gent Aidan (61) from Dundalk unleashes a whirlwind of charm on Bernie (63) from Swords, fearless Leona (32) from Kildare and eclectic Rob (30) from Limerick discover they have a lot more in common than their extensive collection of tattoos and coordination leads to flirtation as pocket rocket Danielle (20) from Limerick and Dublin student Emma (22) discover a shared sense of style.

Episode 3
Rock musician Daragh from Dublin tries to hit the high note with basketball player Gemma from Cork. Part-time model Nikki from claims to be adventurous at heart - but will she have time for a philosophical flight of fancy with smouldering chef Nico?

Episode 4
Mateo welcomes Michael from Dublin who, at 81 years old, is the oldest dater ever in the First Dates restaurant.

Episode 6
Timmie from Clare returns to the restaurant for another shot at love, and this time ends up paired with straight-shooting hairstylist Peter from Cork. Kate travels from Cork in search of a husband and primary school teacher Dearbhla from Meath meets carpenter Bobby from Kerry. Conor from Dundalk has a very distinctive laugh - will he bring a smile to the face of Samantha from Belfast?

Episode 7
Washington, 41, from Brazil meets ginger-bearded James, 37, who arrives from Dublin as his date, but it remains to be seen whether romance will blossom.

Episode 8
Jenna from Sligo is on her very first date since an accident left her paralysed and happily discovers that software developer Robin from Westmeath shares her love of the outdoors.

Episode 9
Sales assistant and part-time stripper Josie from Dublin compares tattoos with retail manager and part-time barber Gary from Wexford. Wrestling fan Declan from Kildare dates former cage fighter Clodagh from Cork, and student Mairead from Galway has to overcome her introverted nature when she meets out-going make-up artist Alex from Leitrim.

Episode 10
Comedian Edwin Sammon - better known to viewers as Father Gabriel from RTE2's Bridget and Eamon - flies in from the Edinburgh Festival hoping his date with physical therapist Emer from Athlone is no laughing matter. Dublin entrepreneur Arianna meets high-flying IT executive Brantley, originally from Alabama.

Episode 11
Native Irish speaker Ailbhe from Donegal meets PE teacher Joe from Wicklow, and make-up artist Jake is able to show his true colours to fellow Corkian - fashion design student Sean.
