A string of unhappy relationships has left 24-year-old Thalia with a phobia of kissing. Her date with 25-year-old Essex lad Jack date gets off to a great start after a discovery of a shared love of sharks. Widower Tony is looking for someone to share his twilight years and is paired with the glamorous Lesley, a fellow East Ender. However, a surprising differing of political opinions threatens to derail their date.
