The stage is set for another sizzling day in Southern Italy as the First Dates Hotel checks in a new raft of UK singles hoping romance will sparkle under the Mediterranean sun.

Among the guests is former international jazz singer, 83 year old Dorit, a holocaust survivor with many a tale to tell. She's looking for a meeting of minds with a "grey-haired stud", and stepping up to the plate is history buff and poetry lover, John. At 82 and with a cheeky promise to become her toy boy he soon realises he has his work cut out to win this formidable lady's heart.
