Newlyweds Matt and Abby Shepard decided it was time to stop paying rent and start flipping houses. They bought their first project in Manayunk, right outside of Philadelphia, and they plan to live in the home while renovating it. They will attack the kitchen, study, living room, and bathroom, not to mention the front of the house, in an effort to cosmetically address a number of issues and improve the home's curb appeal and overall value. If they can stay under budget, they can make a quick profit that will start their new life together out on the right foot.
