Episode 1
Melanie's dream of becoming a fashion designer turns into ashes when her late father's thrift shop catches fire and forces her to rebuild her life from ground zero. She gains new hope through a job opening at SFX, an ambitious new clothing brand. Despite the initial rejection, SFX's general manager Chris commissions her to come up with a collection and present it to the company's big bosses.

Episode 2
Melanie is overjoyed when Georgina acknowledged her designs, unaware of the latter's plan to use her to bring SFX down and gain Michael's favor. Georgina continues to put on a kind front as the newbie designer gets into trouble with her colleagues. While Melanie showcases her summer collection, Georgina meets someone that reminds her of her dark past.

Episode 3
Thanks to Melanie's talent and initiative, Chris bags a foreign investor for SFX and finally gains his father's approval. The pair's success and budding closeness, however, irk both Steve and Stella and push Chris' jealous ex-girlfriend to embarrass and provoke Melanie. Meanwhile, Georgina's deeply buried secret resurfaces and threatens to ruin everything she has worked long and hard for.

Episode 4
Romance blossoms between Melanie and Chris as he tries to prove his sincerity toward her. Having gone through similar childhood experiences, they become two kindred spirits who find refuge in each other. Meanwhile, Melanie readily forgives Stella, unaware of the latter's connivance with Georgina. She soon falls for Stella's wicked scheme that costs her her job in SFX.

Episode 5
Convinced that Melanie was sabotaged, Chris defends his girlfriend against his family and tries to help her start anew by investing in her reestablished ukay shop. Georgina and Stella take advantage of the Manila Gala and pull a publicity stunt to regain their company's reputation. Much to their surprise, Melanie makes a bold move that will help her find out the culprit behind her own plight.

Episode 6
Melanie and Georgina's altercation causes the latter to suffer a miscarriage, prompting an enraged Steve to file a case against the ukay shop owner. With everything that is going on in his family, Chris decides to end his and Melanie's relationship. Melanie feels overwhelmed and confused by her current plight, but her situation soon takes a different turn.

Episode 7
Melanie gives Georgina a chance to admit the latter's mistakes toward the former, but Georgina remains hard-hearted and unrepentant. Soon after, Georgina and Steve's wedding turns into a heartbreaking event when Melanie exposes the bride's secret. While everything seems to fall into place for Melanie's career and her relationship with Chris, her hatred toward her mother starts to consume her.

Episode 8
Melanie's success brings her wedding clothing line to the top, but she has become distant toward her family and friends, especially her beloved grandmother, Dulce. Melanie adamantly drives Georgina away, leading Dulce to confront her about becoming a person full of hatred. This leads to a tragic event that causes Melanie to realize her mistakes and start opening her heart to heal.
