Episode 1
The children find It when digging in the sand. It is bad tempered and hairy and says it can grant their wishes. But wishing is much harder than it sounds.

Episode 2
The children find that even gold coins can go out of circulation. So, they set their sights higher and wish for a pair of wings. Surely this can't land them in trouble?

Episode 3
The Psammead grants more wishes than ever, but none of them go well. The children face an army when their home is turned into a castle that just happens to be under siege.

Episode 4
Robert causes more trouble when he wishes somebody else wanted to look after Lamb. Then, he wishes he was big enough to get even with the baker's boy.

Episode 5
After the baby damages their father's watch, Cyril wishes Lamb would grow up. The children spend their afternoon trying to catch up with their new big brother.

Episode 6
A slip of the tongue leads to a wish which leaves the gamekeeper and Martha looking like thieves. The children must set it right, but where is the Psammead?
