Fix My Frankenhouse - Season 1

Season 1

Episodes

My Franken-Kitchen
In episode one, Mike and Denese will take on an early 1900s family property wrought with tight and dysfunctional spaces, but brimming with special historic features. To restore order to the home, they'll tear down walls, create an open kitchen and dining area and build a large mudroom and spa-like bathrooms. As the season continues, Mike and Denese will overcome choppy rooms and wasted square footage for more clients and work with their dads — master carpenters John Butler and Peter Doyle — to deliver one-of-a-kind projects for each family, including an island with a built-in bench seat and a repurposed antique chest.

A Crazy Maze
Over the years, a couple's home has turned into a maze of additions with six staircases, seven types of flooring and three balconies; Mike and Denese look to finally wrangle their house into shape with a design plan that will suit their family.

Stairs to Nowhere
A couple is living in a house that was his bachelor pad for 20 years, and it's still crazy with features including a stairway to nowhere. Mike and Denese are challenged with creating a sleek, sophisticated space they can both happily agree on.

A House Divided
With an expanding family of two kids and a new puppy, a couple's house has become cramped and needs a reconfiguration. Now, it's up to Mike and Denese to reimage their home to give them the entertaining space they need, along with a new main suite!

The Submarine
For their retirement, a couple has moved into a home that's full of odd changes, including a second-story addition that smothers the first floor. Mike and Denese look to bring light back into their living areas and create the forever home of their dreams.

Spaciously Confusing
After years of long-distance commuting, a couple finally settles down in Rehoboth, MA, but the layout of their spacious home is completely confusing. Mike looks to bring cohesion back to the home while Denese creates a kitchen fit for an actual chef.
